Suzanne Kasler


I have long admired Atlanta designer Suzanne Kasler. Walking the line between fun and formal, Kasler's rooms always feel balanced and bright. This is just one of her projects, but many more can be seen on her website. Stay tuned for her upcoming furniture line, the Kasler Collection from Hickory Chair, set to debut in early 2008.

    Gorgeous photos! The colors are delish. I checked out Suzanne's website to see if she uses chandeliers and fabulous sconces elsewhere. Indeed, she does! Thanks for another great post. Will keep an eye out for the furniture--and textile!--lines.

    When going through my old design magazines, I was interested to see how Suzanne's style has really changed over the past 10 years. I love the new, fresh work she is doing. I hadn't heard about the line for Hickory Chair...they have a great group of designer lines!

    This is kind of random, but a few years ago she did a tiny vignette for the Atlanta Opera's Antique Show. She used one of her signature amazing blue-greens, and I think some Italian antiques -- beautiful!

    One of the houses featured on Kasler's site is on the market in Atlanta now - the Asheworth Court listing. I actually posted a picture from the real estate listing on my blog last month, not knowing that it was designed by Kasler. The house is under contract now, but some sites still let you look at houses under contract...the MLS number is 3480225. It is interesting to see how a 'styled' picture looks (the ones on the designer's site) vs. the one from the listing...the furniture is placed slightly differently.
