It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas over at the Spade's house...

Elle Magazine attends a holiday dinner hosted by Andy and Kate Spade in the December issue. Celebrating retirement perhaps? The table setting was inspired by the
Kate Spade for Crane peony stationary. (Click on photo to enlarge details).

An otherwise traditional table setting is challenged by contemporary art. Red painting is by Terry Winters. Black and white prints are by Hugo Guinness. (Photographed by Jason Frank Rothenberg for Elle Magazine).
Oh wow! What a great table, and I can only dream for an invite! Love the contemporary and traditional mix.
ReplyDeleteI love Kate Spade's style. Thanks for sharing these photos!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this my heart sunk thinking that the holidays are already here!
ReplyDeleteThat art really socks it to ya! What impact - great style.
ReplyDeleteThis is only a small sniplet of the Elle article, which is great if you are a Kate Spade fan. Of course the photos are typical fashion mag, postage stamp size.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for this- I normally don't read Elle, but I will def. pick up this issue to see more!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun surprise because last year, with all the Spade holiday wares on the market, I think several of us wrote about how we'd love to see the couple's place decked out for xmas.
ReplyDeleteOooo can I come :) I would love to be a such a stylish party!

I love how those two have their own style, and don't seem influenced by trend or fashion. Instead, they seem to set trends, and obviously fashion.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with that chandelier!
ReplyDeleteI love Kate Spade's old-dowager-chic-done-young sensibility.
These are FAB!!! I adore Kate and Andy! I'll pick up my copy first thing in the morning!
