Closet Lust, Part 12

Rachel Zoe's studio as seen on The Huffington Post.

Holy bananas--there are a lot of shoes in this room. I know it's a workspace and all, but couldn't we send Jeff Lewis over there to design a decent dressing room with some stylish cabinetry?

Don't forget, it's the best week ever on Bravo, with premiers of the new seasons of Flipping Out and The Rachel Zoe Project. My DVR is feeling loved right now.

A Thing of Beauty

Images above are from Jane Campion's production scrapbook for the upcoming film, Bright Star.

So excited--I am long overdue for a 19th century "corset movie". Trailer here.

Atlanta Outside

Don't get me wrong, I love my town. More often than not, the weather is good, we have loads of design talent, and the living is relatively easy. That said, I was still somewhat surprised to find Atlanta ranked as number three on Outside Magazine's list of America's Best Cities.

Thank you. We will take it.

It's Complicated

With Nancy Meyers directing, Beth Rubino as set decorator and Jon Hutman in charge of production design, the dream team that created the look we loved in Something's Gotta Give is back. (And even if the decor fails to live up to our expectations, we can still admire the scenery that is Alec Baldwin--I have a thing for him).

For movie stills visit Silver Screen Surroundings. For more on the original set that made us forget about the movie we were watching, be sure to visit this post at Cote De Texas.

Haberdashery

When I told the guys at Sid Mashburn I was "just looking", I was telling the truth--it's just that I was looking at the decor and not the suits. (Though I am sure the intentionally preppy, intentionally hip clothing and accessories for gentlemen are terrific too).
