Finally, something to blog about! Just got off the plane, but thought I would post a few photos from our trip to Spain before I try to catch up on my sleep. That damn Icelandic volcano had me tossing and turning all night, but all turned out well. Barcelona rocks! More to come...

i've never been to barcelona, but it is number one on my list of must-do weekend getaway! can't wait to hear more about your trip. And as for writing blog worthy things... I'd love to know more about your local haunts. especially you're duck pond neighborhood! might be old hat for you, but for those of us reading from far off lands it's totally blog worthy:-)

Barcelona is one of my very favorite places I have ever been. I had the good fortune of going there when I was 15 with one of my friend's and her family (who happened to be from and visiting their family in Barcelona). The people were so friendly, the food was wonderful and the overall spirit was just one of a giant embrace-that sounds lame, but seriously. One night all the women in the family (including my friend's 84 yr old grandma) went out dancing-I will remember that trip always!
