The Cindy Factor

Cindy Crawford in her Malibu home, designed by Michael Smith.

Could a supermodel-turned-mass-market furniture designer be the cause of our Wall Street woes? Carl Hiaasen provides an interesting hypothesis regarding the "Cindy Factor" in The Miami Herald.

Hmm. I wonder how he figures. (I guess I'll just have to read the article!)

That was just so hilarious! It might be even funnier if it weren't so true...

Cindy Crawford is just amazing. Shocking that she has remained the same age since 1990.

The Cindy Factor has been a come on in furniture stores since the year one. I never understood the idea of buying houseful, or roomful of furniture at one time, and paying it off with payments. It always seems like crappy furniture that would wear out before the last payment was made.
And the real Cindy sin is that ugly, boring, sterile, cheaply made, over priced furniture she attaches her name to.

Agreed. I would rather live with an "early attic" anything than make payments on a piece of furniture.
