Keeping it Real

Nice try, Bravo. I caught you trying to slip this classic Buckhead home into your montage of OTP McMansions the other night on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Maybe most of America won't notice this house is actually WITHIN the city limits--30 miles away from where your story was taking place. Of course this is of no bother to me, but perhaps our metro area cousins would not want this old house (without it's own bowling alley) being mistaken as one of their own.

the funny thing is, this is the only house i noticed when they showed all the different ones because it was so adorable. i love it! so classic.

This picture does not really do the house justice. The grounds are really pretty too.

No bowling alley? What about 15 different faux finishes? Humpf. Who would want to live there?

(me.)

Thanks for calling Bravo OUT, Brilliant Asylum!

I guess Bravo didn't think "The Real Housewives of North Fulton and Gwinnett" would pull in the viewers?

Yeah, this house is the only remotely tasteful thing to ever grace that show. Talk about nouveau-riche nausea. Never thought I'd say this, but the Atlanta version makes the Wives of the OC look like pillars of class, discipline, tasteful restraint and virtue. I wonder if those women have any idea how bad they make themselves look? I guess most of it's scripted and just made to be outrageous.
