I was wondering about the Obama factor. The sad thing is I was searching J. Crew trying to find a recession friendly alternative to some Jimmy Choo's I saw at Saks yesterday. Whatevs.
um, yeah ...because I would pay like $80 for J.Crew shoes ...but not $450.
Their prices went up a while back, maybe 1-2 years ago? But just wait for a sale. EVERYTHING goes on sale there. Or, even better, wait until it ends up at Rugged Wearhouse for $7.99, ha! I've bought tons of cute JCrew ballet flats there for $14.99. And the wedding dress that was $2,000 in the catalog was $9.99 at Rugged. I gave it to a friend:)

I agree that J.Crew's prices have gotten ridiculous. I have a love/hate relationship with them. I love so many of their items, but hate that I can't buy them all!

Gosh.. give me an F'in break.. Ever since Mrs. "O" came on the scene J. Crew is raising prices.. $450 for those shoes.. I'd just go get my Choo's can call it a day!
