I know this is an old photo, but I still think Thom Filicia has the best sense of humor. The rest of the house (as seen in Loft Life Magazine) is pretty clever too.
P.S. Does anyone know what kind of mirror (the larger of the two) that is? Or more importantly, where I might find one? It looks to be some sort of antique, reinforced safety glass. I am thinking that could be a good idea for one of my ridiculously tiny bathrooms.

This is like the Saturday Night Live with Susan Lucci. In her monologue, she's backstage and everybody has Emmys. "Susan's gaze falls upon a carpenter using an Emmy to hammer a nail into the wall"
I love his sense of humour and his sense of style...it's a great combination.
I've been to that apt when accompanying a friend to walk his dog Paco & IT. IS. FABULOUS. The mirror is actually adhered to the whole wal;it's construction glass & then framed out by moulding. I was so inspired by it that I'm using it in a restaurant project I'm designing in the West Village, only it'll be antiqued as well. It's a great way to incorporate mirror while adding dimension & not being 80's tacky. You should contact Zecca Glass & Tile in NY to get a sample.
