Trick or Treat

Growing up with a nutritionist mother, I had very little opportunity to consume large amounts of sugar--with exception to one night each year. I have never had a cavity though. (Thanks Mom)! Anyway, it is time to stock up on Halloween candy, only to need to restock on the 31st after it mysteriously disappears. Here is what I had in mind for round one:

Halloween costume kisses from Hershey's Gifts.

Cool, retro treats can be found at Nostalgic Candy.

Crystal-cut candy from Williams-Sonoma evokes the scary Victorian era.

Chocolate covered Oreos from Dylan's Candy Bar.

A staple at New York corner stores, in Atlanta, I have to buy Morinaga Hi-Chew candy in bulk from veryasia.com.

Nobody's favorite, marshmallow peanuts.

Elegant truffles for big kids from Williams-Sonoma.

Well, I would eat about any and all of the candies you featured, with the exception of the circus peanuts (I agree- I have yet to meet someone who likes them!). Need to try that Japanese candy sometime :)

YUMMO. And Millie: I LOOOOVE circus peanuts. Weird, I know.

But you can now say that they are somebody's fave!!! :)

The marshmellow peanut was what I was trying to avoid in my house color - and in my trick-or-treating back in the day.

OMG! Mango candy? I am ordering that this instant! I am a total candyaholic so you are in good company :-) Easter candy is my favorite - born on Easter!

When I go to a foreign country I immediately fall in love with some candy that I have to track down when I get home.

Hey, come on by my blog to pick up your award! I am so pleased to have you on my list of people who have made me smile. Even though it is a long list, you definitely deserve a place on it!

Love the candies!

The Peanut marshmellows intrigued me LOL. I did a double-take on that one. I Love the Morinaga chewies myself - Mango is especially yummy. Fun post!

I find that my mom eats more candy then she gives out. I guess that part of Halloween. Being unhealthy.
